  4. If your remote is still not connecting, then wait for the on-screen remote detection error message.
  5. Press and hold the Home button on your remote for 10 seconds.
  6. If your remote supports it, try Troubleshoot Your Fire TV Remote.
  7. If required, Reset Your Fire TV Remote.
