Text Description of the Button Layout
- Hold the remote with the large circular button towards your TV and the smooth end towards yourself.
- Starting at the top left and moving to the right is the Power button and a small hole for the microphone.
- Top right is the Alexa Voice button, which you can press to make Alexa voice commands. Below the Alexa Voice button is the Navigation Ring. Navigate your Fire TV by pressing up, down, left, or right on the ring. In the center of the ring is the Select button. You can control rewind and fast-forward during video playback session using by pressing on the left and right sides of the Navigation Ring.
- Next is a row of three buttons. From left to right, they are: Back, Home, and Menu. Home has a raised dot.
- Next is another row of four buttons, where the extreme left and right buttons are vertical bars. From left to right, they are Volume Up and Down, Play/Pause, Guide and Channel Up/Down button.
- Next is another row of three buttons. From left to right, they are: Mute, Customizable button and the Shortcut Panel button.
- Finally, there are two rows with two App buttons each. Each button launches a preset app on your Fire TV. The preset apps may vary.
