Alexa+ Requirements
If Alexa+ isn't available on your device, check your account or device settings.
Alexa+ has a few account and device requirements beyond device compatibility. Before you get started, review the steps below to make sure everything is ready.

Compatibility of Alexa+ with Alexa Built-in Devices . If notifications about Alexa+ requirements appear during device setup, finish setting up your device first. Then return to this page to address them.
Language and Location
- Set your device to use a supported language during setup. Learn how to Change the Language on Your Echo Device.
- Alexa+ is available only for personal Amazon accounts set to a supported location. Learn how to Update Country Settings for Access to Country Specific Features.

Account Type
- Alexa+ works only with personal Amazon accounts. It is not compatible with Amazon Enterprise or Business accounts.
- To use Alexa+ on a device registered to a business account, factory reset the device and set it up with your personal account. Learn how to Reset Your Echo Device.
Amazon Family Compatibility
- Alexa+ is compatible with devices in an Amazon Family.
- If Alexa+ doesn't perform at its best on all of your Family devices, some adjustments in your Amazon Family might help. To learn more, visit Using Alexa+ with Amazon Family.
Purchased Device Eligibility
If Alexa+ came with a device purchase, access to Alexa+ belongs to the Amazon account used to register that device.
After Setup
Once you've addressed any remaining compatibility requirements in your account, your Alexa+ experience should be available soon.
