Compatibility of Alexa+ with Alexa Built-in Devices

Alexa+ isn't compatible with some Alexa built-in devices.

Note: These devices will never be compatible with Alexa+. If your device is not on this list, go to https://www.amazon.co.uk/alexaplus to check compatibility in your country.

Alexa+ isn't compatible with:

  • Echo (1st Generation)
  • Echo (2nd Generation)
  • Echo Plus (1st Generation)
  • Echo Buds (1st Generation)
  • Echo Show (1st Generation)
  • Echo Show (2nd Generation)
  • Echo Spot (1st Generation)
  • Fire TV devices on FireOS 5
  • Fire Tablets running FireOS 7 or earlier

Any of these devices that are on an account with Alexa+ will continue with the original Alexa experience.
