Learn how to activate and set up Alexa+.

Activate Alexa+

You can sign up for Alexa+ at https://www.amazon.co.uk/alexaplus. Alternatively, if you have an Echo device, you can say "Alexa, upgrade!"

Alexa+ is included with your Prime membership at no additional cost. If you join Prime through Alexa channels or if you sign up for the Alexa+ Standard plan, you'll receive Alexa+ automatically. If you join Prime through other Amazon services, you'll need to activate Alexa+ separately from https://www.amazon.co.uk/alexaplus.

Everyone can enjoy a free and limited Alexa+ experience through the Alexa app, and app supported devices. However, there's no free experience for Alexa+ on devices (Echo, Fire TV and Fire Tablets).

Note: If you would like to deactivate Alexa+, go to Cancel Your Alexa+ Subscription.

Set Up Alexa+

One you have signed up for Alexa+, you'll receive a notification on your mobile device and a welcome email with details for how to get started.

After joining, Alexa+ will:

  • Start with an introduction and learn your name.
  • Get to know you and your interests and suggest new features that contribute to your interests.
  • Create a profile for you and help you invite members of your household to create their own profiles.
  • Offer to recognize your voice to personalize the Alexa+ experience.
