How to Set Up Amazon Ember Artline (2026 Release)

Setup and register your device to use Alexa, access the full Amazon Appstore, and receive Fire TV software updates.

Basic Requirements

To start, have the following parts, accessories, and information ready:

  • The Amazon Ember Artline TV and in-box accessories.
  • Alexa Voice Remote, power cord, AAA batteries for the remote, wall mount, and wall mount hardware. TV Frame is shipped separately.
    Note: Amazon Ember Artline TV comes with a wall mount kit. If you don’t intend to wall mount this TV, purchase the legs separately here:
  • An Amazon account, including your email address or phone number and password.
  • An internet connection, including your Wi-Fi name and password.

Unpacking Your TV

To unpack your TV:

  1. Carefully remove the TV and all included accessories from the box.
    Note: Make sure that you remove all parts and accessories before disposing the box.
  2. Lay your TV on a flat surface with the screen facing down.
  3. Carefully remove the plastic wrap off of the TV.

Install Your TV

To mount your TV on the wall:

  • To mount your Amazon Ember Artline on the wall with the wall mounting kit (included in the box), visit How to Wall Mount Amazon Ember Artline TV.
    Note: To avoid any damage or serious injury during the mounting process, follow the instructions provided with the wall mount exactly. This process requires two people.

To install the TV legs (sold separately as an accessory):

Amazon Ember Artline TV comes with a custom-designed wall mount. If you would like to use the TV legs instead of the wall mount, purchase it separately here:

Screw both TV stand legs into the bottom of the TV as shown in the image. Use the included hardware and a Phillips screwdriver.

Note: To prevent stripping the screw holes, don't use an electric drill.



To install the TV frame:

The Amazon Ember Artline comes with a customized frame that you can attach to your TV. The frame is divided into four pieces, which attach to your TV with magnetic clip-ons.

Note: Make sure that you install the TV either on the wall mount or on legs before attaching the frame.
  1. Lay out all four frame pieces and identify the top, bottom, left, and right pieces.
  2. Align all the frame pieces with the edges of the TV and firmly press for the magnets to engage.

The Amazon Ember Artline TV has the following buttons, indicators, and ports located on the front and back of the device:

On the front of the device (bottom of the TV):

  • Microphones on/off button
  • Microphones
  • Power button
  • Light bar

On the back of the device:

  • Power port
  • Optical audio output (S/PDIF) port
  • Ethernet port
  • 1 USB 3.0
  • Antenna/Cable port
  • HDMI 2.1 eARC port
  • Three HDMI 2.0 ports
  • IR Emitter port
  • 1 digital optical audio port (headphone jack)

How to Set Up Your Device

Video guide to set up your device

To set up your Amazon Ember TV:

  1. Put the batteries into the remote.
  2. Plug in the power cord into your TV’s power port, then plug the other end into a power outlet.
  3. Press the Power button on your remote or TV.
  4. Your Fire TV remote should pair automatically with your Amazon Ember Artline TV.
    Note: If your remote didn’t pair, press the Home button until "Press Play Pause to start" appears on-screen (about 10 seconds).
  5. If connecting to a Wi-Fi network, choose one of the options:
    • Use your mobile phone to scan the on-screen QR code to automatically connect your Fire TV to Wi-Fi.
    • Use your Fire TV remote and follow on-screen instructions to manually connect your Fire TV to Wi-Fi.
  6. If connecting to a router or modem:
    • Connect one end of an Ethernet cable (sold separately) to your TV.
    • Connect the other end to your modem or router.
  7. To sign-in or sign up with your Amazon account, choose one of these options:
    • Scan the on-screen QR code with your mobile phone.
    • Visit the on-screen web address (amazon.co.uk/code) and enter the activation code shown on your screen.
  8. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Remote Overview

Your device comes with the remote that you can use to browse your Fire TV. Use the playback buttons to play, pause, rewind, or fast forward video content. Use the Alexa button for voice commands. You can also use the preset app buttons at the bottom of the remote to navigate quickly to select apps.

To insert the batteries, turn your remote upside down and place your thumbs on the back cover. Press the arrow firmly to release the latch, and slide the cover down.

Note: For best performance, always replace dead batteries with new 1.5V alkaline or 1.2V NiMH rechargeable AAA batteries.

Troubleshoot Setup Issues

If setting up your device doesn't go as expected, try the following suggestions:

  • If you get a login error or have forgotten your Amazon account password, you can reset your password. Go to the Forgot Your Password page.
  • If your remote doesn't pair automatically, press the Home button until "Press Play Pause to start" appears on-screen (about 10 seconds). Visit the Can't Pair Your Fire TV Remote page to find more troubleshooting information.

  • If you're having issues with your Wi-Fi password, contact your internet service provider.

Privacy & Support

You can take control of your privacy settings. Toggle the microphone on/off switch on your device to deactivate microphones whenever you need. In the Alexa app, you are able to access, listen to, or delete any voice recordings associated with your account at any time.
