- Connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- Log in to your Amazon account.

When you see the Alexa home screen and clock, your device is ready to use.
Privacy and Support

When Alexa is listening and processing your request in Amazon's secure cloud, a blue light appears on the device screen. To turn your device's microphone on or off, press the Microphone and Camera button. You can also cover the camera with the built-in shutter.
