Get Support Registering Your Fire Tablet
Having problems registering your Fire tablet to your Amazon account? Incorrect device time, outdated software or incorrect passwords are often the cause.
Want or need a new password? Use this link:
- Confirm that your device displays the correct time at the top of the screen.
- Check that your device has the latest software version:
- From the Home screen, select All Settings.
- Select Device Options, then select System Updates.
- If available, click on the option to UPDATE.
- Make sure your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
- Make sure you're registering your device to the correct Amazon account.
Tip: If you have multiple accounts, validate your login credentials on a different device. Navigate to the Amazon website on a web browser and sign into your account.
