Order a new Amazon device as a gift or give your used one to your friends and family.

Gift a New Amazon Device

You can mark certain items sold by Amazon and other sellers as gifts at the order level.

  1. Select Add to Cart on the product detail page.
  2. Check This Order Contains a Gift box.
  3. Select Proceed to Checkout.

Note: You can add or change gift options after ordering before the shipping process starts. To do so, go to Your Orders and select View or Edit Order.

Gift a Used Amazon Device

Before gifting your used Amazon Device, reset the device to factory default settings.

Visit Reset Amazon Devices and follow device-specific instructions.

Factory reset deregisters your device from your account and removes your downloaded content and personal information, allowing the recipient to add their own.

Returning a Gift

The Returns Center allows gift recipients to return items marked as a gift at the time of purchase.

  1. Visit Gift Returns.
  2. Enter the order number. You can find the order number on the packing slip inside your package.
  3. Choose the item that you wish to return.
  4. Select a return reason, refund type, and return method.
