Manage Your Calendar with Alexa+

Alexa+ lets you manage your calendar by summarizing events and through visualization, natural interaction, and conflict awareness.

The following table lists calendar features available with Alexa+ and their descriptions:

Feature Description

Summarized Calendar Events

Alexa can summarize your schedule and tell you how busy your day is going to be. You can ask Alexa to check your schedule, find free time slots, and access your upcoming day. Just say things like, "What does my day look like tomorrow?"

Monthly and Weekly Overview

Stay on top of your schedule with Alexa+ calendar features. You can say things like, "Show me my calendar for the week," and your Alexa-supported devices with a screen displays upcoming events and appointments.

You can even access a monthly overview by trying, "Show my calendar for next month."

Conflict Awareness

Alexa alerts you to schedule conflicts, both in your existing calendar and when adding new events.

Create, Edit, and Delete Events

Add new events to your calendar as one-time or recurring events. You can also update the date, time or title of existing events, or delete an event from your schedule.

Calendar Notifications

Alexa can notify you of upcoming events through announcements on the Echo device you choose. To opt in, visit the calendar setting in your Alexa app:

  1. Select More.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Calendar.
  4. Select Calendar Notifications.

Multiprofile Support

Each person with their own Alexa profile can link their individual accounts to Alexa, for personalized calendar management. Each Alexa profile can have multiple linked calendars.

You can set a default personal calendar and a shared family calendar for household events.

Voice ID Personalization

Visual ID Personalization

Create an Alexa Voice ID to get notification from your selected calendars. To learn more, go to Create and Alexa Voice ID.

You can also enroll in Visual ID on your Echo Show devices and receive a personalized calendar when recognized. To learn more, go to Enroll in Visual ID on Your Echo Devices with a Screen.

Enhanced Widget Sizes

You can change widget sizes on compatible Echo devices to modify the size of your calendar. For more information on how to change your widget size, go to Remove or Arrange Widgets.
