To book a local service with Alexa+:
- Ask Alexa for help with booking a service, you can say, "help me book a manicure appointment."
- Alexa shows a list of businesses for the service that you requested. Alexa uses the context in the request to infer the type of service and the schedule needed.
- Link Account: If needed, Alexa guides you to create and link a third-party account to complete bookings. For steps on linking third-party services to your Alexa account, go to Connect Your Third-Party Services to Alexa+.
- Booking: Alexa asks question if needed to complete the booking such as availability and appointment details. Alexa confirms the information before initiating the booking with the third party and completes the booking on your behalf once you confirm the details. If Alexa didn't understand your request, or you account details accurately, you can tell Alexa.
- Alexa confirms the final request with the third party.
Once confirmed, you receive a notification on your device and also a confirmation email from the third party.
Note: You can request to cancel a booking with Alexa. If there are any fees associated, Alexa notifies you and only cancels if you agree. If you have a question about a booking that has been completed, you have to contact the third party directly. For more information on when to contact the third-party service go to,
