Share Kindle Scribe Notes and Notebooks to Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Microsoft OneNote

Upload a PDF copy of your annotated files to Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, or upload your notebooks as text or PNG images to Microsoft OneNote.

Note: To use these services on your Kindle Scribe:

You need a Kindle Scribe released in 2025 or later.
You need to register your Kindle Scribe to an Amazon account and connect it to the internet.
You need a Google or Microsoft account.

When you share notebooks or documents with Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, Kindle Scribe creates a folder to store your shared files.

Share Documents to Connected Drives:

Open the document and tap to display the top toolbox.
Tap the share icon on the top-right corner.
On the share menu at the bottom, choose the drive service you wish to use.
Tap Upload on the next screen that opens.

Kindle Scribe doesn't support sharing personal documents with Microsoft OneNote.

Share Notebooks to Connected Services:

Open the notebook and tap to display the top toolbar.
Tap the share icon on the top-right corner and tap Share current page or Share entire notebook.
- Alternatively, select the multipage icon in the top toolbar to select the pages you want to share. Then tap the share icon .
On the share menu at the bottom, choose the service you wish to use.
Choose the Format for your shared file and preview the conversion.
Tap Upload at the bottom.

When uploading notebooks to Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, choose to keep handwriting as PDF, convert to text, or create searchable PDFs.

When uploading notebooks to Microsoft OneNote, format options include keeping handwriting as a PNG image or converting to text. Choosing both shows them side by side.

Note: Microsoft OneNote saves your shared notebooks to Microsoft OneDrive.

To find your shared notebooks, navigate to My Files > Documents > Kindle Scribe.

For M365 Business accounts, navigate to My Files > Notebooks > Kindle Scribe.

Access to your workplace cloud drive depends on your company's security settings. Check with your IT team to see if you can connect to your company account.
