Connect Kindle Scribe to Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Microsoft OneNote
Import and annotate compatible files between Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive or upload your notebooks as text or PNG images to Microsoft OneNote.
Note: To use these services on your Kindle Scribe:
- You need a Kindle Scribe released in 2025 or later.
- You need to register your Kindle Scribe to an Amazon account and connect it to the internet.
- You need a Google or Microsoft account.
Connect Kindle Scribe to Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Microsoft OneNote:
- On your Kindle Scribe, tap the connections icon
in the main toolbar, then tap Add connections.
Alternatively, tap All Settings, and then Connections. - Tap Connect next to the service you want to connect. Two options show up:
- Scan a QR code and sign in to Amazon. Use the phone number or email account registered with the Kindle Scribe.
- Or visit Kindle Connections(https://www.amazon.co.uk/kindle/connections) (https://www.amazon.co.uk/kindle/connections) on any device and enter the code shown on your Kindle Scribe.
- To complete the connection, follow the steps on the screen.
The verification code expires after 15 minutes. You can generate a new code on your device if needed.
To Manage Your Kindle Scribe Connections On-Device:
- To access your connected cloud drives, tap the connections icon
in the main toolbar. - Tap Manage connections to view the service connection settings. Tap the connection that you want to manage.
- Edit the Display name for the connection.
- View which Microsoft or Google account you’re using by the masked email address displayed.
- View details of the initial connection time and date.
- Set default settings for the layout of imported Word files.
- Choose whether to add the files to both Library and Workspace. By default, we add imported files to the Library only.
- Disconnect to remove the third-party service connection from your Amazon account.
