Share Notes and Notebooks from Your Kindle Scribe

Share your annotations on books and personal documents, and your notebooks by email to coworkers, or other personal contacts. The generated email contains a link that recipients can use to download the exported content within 7 days.

When you share content from your Kindle Scribe, your handwritten or text sticky notes show at the end of the shared document. On-page mark-ups and highlights remain in the original doc.

Kindle Scribe doesn't support sharing multiple notebooks at once.

    • Open the book, document, or Notebook and tap to display the top bar menu.
    • If in a book, tap the notebook icon.
  1. Tap the Share icon on the top-right corner.
  2. On the Share bottom menu, choose Quick send to [your registered email address] or Share via email.
The share link expires after 7 days and the content is no longer available from that link.
Note: Currently, it isn't possible to share notebooks and personal documents with members of your Amazon Family even if they have a Kindle Scribe too.
When using the Convert to text Share options, a PDF of your notebook is available. You can search for keywords in your handwritten notes when reading the PDF on your phone or laptop.
  • When using the Convert to text and quick send [to your registered email] option, a searchable PDF is available as a second link.
  • When using the Convert to text and email option, select the checkbox Attach notebook as a searchable PDF on the Share via email page.
Note: The searchable PDF of your notebook doesn’t include any edits made during preview in the Convert to text and email option.
