About Ride Booking with Alexa+

The Alexa+ ride booking experience lets you book rides using supported Alexa built-in devices.

Note: Not all features and services will be available at once. New features will roll out across compatible devices during the Early Access period. For more information on available features and supported devices go to: Alexa+

To use the ride booking experience, you can say things like, "Get me a ride to the mall." Alexa asks follow-up questions, and sends your request to the supported third-party service you choose to book your ride.

If there are multiple Alexa profiles on your Amazon account, each profile can link to its own ride share account. For more information on Alexa profiles, go to What Are Alexa Profiles?.

Alexa lists available ride share options based on your request. You can tell Alexa if you'd like to adjust your request. You can say things like:

  • "The drop-off address is incorrect, please update it to [new address or location name]."
  • "I need a car that has room for six people with luggage."
  • "I'm running late for my flight, get me a ride to the airport as soon as possible!"
