How Do I Manage My Amazon Music Profile?
When you create an account in the Amazon Music app, we set up a profile for you. You can edit your profile at any time within the Amazon Music app for iOS, Android, Fire tablet, or the web player. You can also create a unique social handle for your profile.
To manage a profile:
- Open the Amazon Music app. Make sure that you use either the latest Amazon Music app for Android or iOS, Fire tablet, or the web player.
- Select your Profile picture in the top of your Amazon Music app home screen, and then Manage Profiles.
- Amazon Music Unlimited Family Plan or Amazon Music Standard Family Plan members: Select the profile name to open the drop-down menu. Select either +New to create a new profile or Edit profiles to edit or delete existing profiles. Important: Deleting an existing profile removes the family member.
- You can change your profile name, picture, privacy settings, and unique social handle on the Edit your profile page. Adding a unique social handle let's people follow you and the music you love.
Note: Amazon Music only uses your profile name, picture, and social handle within Amazon Music. Any changes you make to a profile name, picture, and handle stay within Amazon Music, and don’t carry over to other services.
Amazon Music Unlimited Family Plan or Amazon Music Standard Family Plan members:
- Amazon Music looks for profiles created on your account from other Amazon Services, like Alexa and Prime Video. You can choose to enroll that profile to receive Amazon Music Unlimited or Amazon Music Standard, and join your Family Plan.
- With a Family Plan, you can have up to six user profiles on a single Amazon account. This total includes the default profile, plus up to five additional profiles.
By default, people can see the name, picture, unique handle, following list, followers list, and public playlists on your profile. Only people you shared a link to your profile with, or those who come across any playlists you leave public can view your profile.
