Reset Your Echo Sub

If your Echo Sub isn’t responding, and you’ve tried to restart it, reset your device.

If your device is unresponsive, first restart your device. Unplug the power adapter from the device or the outlet and wait for 10 seconds. Plug it back in to restart it.

To reset your device to its factory settings:

  1. Press and hold the Action button until the light indicator flashes orange (about 25 seconds).
  2. Your device enters setup mode. For setup instructions, go to Set Up Your Echo Sub.
Note: This reset erases all your personal information.
Tip: If resetting your device isn’t helpful or you no longer want to use your device, Deregister Your Device from your Amazon account. Deregistering your device erases all device settings.
