Sync Your Kindle for Windows App

Sync your app to keep your library up to date.

Important: The Legacy Kindle app (previously called Kindle for PC) isn't supported as of June 30, 2026. To download the new Kindle for Windows app, go to Install or Update the Kindle App for Desktop.
  1. Make sure that your computer is connected to the internet.
  2. Open the Kindle for Windows app.
  3. In the left navigation bar, select Library.
  4. Select the sync icon .
    1. The icon stops spinning once the sync completes
