Invite Family Members
You need to invite family members to join before they can begin streaming music with your Amazon Music Unlimited Family Plan or Amazon Music Standard Family Plan. You can invite family members in two ways. You can add a profile under your account or invite a family member to sign in with their own account.
In order to invite family members to join:
- You must have an active Amazon Music Unlimited Family Plan or Amazon Music Standard Family Plan subscription with fewer than five invited members.
- The invitee must live in the same country as the subscriber.
- Open the Amazon Music app. Make sure that you use either the latest Amazon Music app for Android or iOS, Fire tablet, or the web player.
- Select your profile picture in the top of your Amazon Music app home screen, and then Add Profile.
- To invite a family member to sign in with their own account:
- Select Invite your family member to sign in with their own Amazon account, and then select or add the contact and share the invitation.
- To add a family member by adding a new profile to your account:
- Amazon Music looks for profiles created on your account from other Amazon services, such as Prime Video or Alexa.
- If you find the profile you want to use in the list of options, select it, and start listening. If not, proceed to the next step.
- Provide a new name, picture, and handle for the new profile, and then select Confirm.
