Alexa Gadget is Unresponsive

To resolve most issues with connectivity or setup, unplug the power adapter from your Echo device and then plug it back in.

  • Make sure that your Echo device is compatible with your Alexa Gadget. Reference the product detail page or manufacturer’s instructions for your Alexa Gadget.
  • Make sure that your Echo device and the Alexa app have the latest software version.
  • Confirm that your Alexa Gadget is listed under Connected Devices in the Alexa app. If you have an Echo device with a screen, confirm that your Alexa Gadget is listed in the Bluetooth section in Settings.
  • Make sure your Alexa Gadget is powered on.
  • If you’re using Alexa Skills, make sure the skill is enabled.
  • If the skill is unresponsive, disable and re-enable the skill.
  • Reach out to the manufacturer for further assistance.
