Alexa Skill is Not Working Correctly

My Alexa Skill is not working as expected.

To trouble shoot issues with Alexa skills:

  • Turn the skill off and then back on.
    Tip: Ensure you have your skill login credentials before disabling the skill as you may need to provide them when turning it back on.
  • If using Amazon Household profiles, verify that your device is on the correct profile. To do this, say "what profile are you in?To switch Household profiles, say "Switch account."
    • To do this, ask "Alexa, what profile are you in"?
    • To switch Household profiles, say "Switch account".
  • Check the skill's detail page to see if it requires account linking. If the skill isn't linked, select Link Account.
  • Some skills require certain permissions to provide you with the best experience. Check if the required permissions were granted for your skill:
    1. Open the Alexa app .
    2. Select More.
    3. Select Skills & Games.
    4. Scroll down to Your Skills.
    5. Select the skill.
    6. Select Settings and check if any account permissions say Not Granted.
