About Remember This with Alexa+

Use Alexa to create, update, go to, and archive notes that you want to remember in the future.

Note: Not all features and services will be available at once. New features will roll out across compatible devices during the Early Access period. For more information on available features and supported devices go to: Alexa+

To create and store information, you can ask Alexa to create a note. For example, "Remember my friend's birthday," or "Remember that I want to eat more healthy greens." There's no limit to the number of notes that you can create.

To retrieve notes, you can say things like:

  • "What do you remember about dinner on Tuesday night?"
  • "What did I tell you about the Seattle Seahawks?"
  • "What do you remember about my mom's birthday party?"
  • "What did I ask you to remember last week?"

To update a note, ask about the information you want to remember, and then ask Alexa to change it. For example, "What is my son's shoe size?" and then, "Change my son's shoe size to 7."

While Remember This is primarily a conversation only experience, you can also go to and archive your stored notes in the Alexa app.

Note: Notes are available to anyone using a supported Alexa-enabled device logged into the account.
