Delete Collections in Kindle for Windows

How to delete Collections from your Kindle library.

Important: The Legacy Kindle app (previously called Kindle for PC) isn't supported as of June 30, 2026. To download the new Kindle for Windows app, go to Install or Update the Kindle App for Desktop.
  1. In the Kindle for PC app home screen, right-click on the name of the collection you wish to delete.
  2. Select Delete.
  3. Select Yes to confirm that you want to delete the collection.

Note: This action only deletes the Collection. The content remains available in your library.
