About Ticketing with Alexa+
Search, book, and create notifications for tickets to various events using your compatible Alexa devices or the Alexa app.
To book tickets with Alexa, you need to grant Alexa permissions to share certain information with the third-party ticket providers. To learn more about managing your third-party permissions, go to Connect Your Third-Party Services to Alexa+.
Booking Tickets:
You can ask Alexa to book tickets to live events such as concerts, movies, comedy shows, theatrical plays, and sports events. To get started, say something like, "I'd like to book two tickets to the Seahawks game." Alexa guides you through the booking process, asking follow-up questions to confirm details like the event date, venue, and seating preferences.
If you have a device with a screen, you can review these details on your screen. Alexa provides booking recommendations based on your initial requests.
As you book tickets, you can make changes, ask for details about the event, and more. Try saying things like:
- "Show me the best seats."
- "Is there a different show time?"
- "Are there any sets of four tickets, seated together?"
After you confirm the details and the booking is complete:
- The third-party service sends ticket details to your Alexa account email address.
- Alexa provides verbal confirmation and visual confirmation on devices with a screen.
- Alexa adds the reservation to your Alexa calendar.
Creating Ticket Notifications:
You can ask Alexa to create a ticket notification for specific artists, events, or shows. You can customize the notification based on preferences like the number of tickets, price range, dates, and seating.
To review your ticket notifications, go to the notification center in the Alexa app. You can also ask Alexa, "What tickets are you tracking for me?"
