Bluetooth Set Up for Text to Contacts with Alexa+
Download or update the Alexa app from your mobile device's app store and turn on the feature from your phones mobile app for the Echo device.
Note: Not all features and services will be available at once. New features will roll out across compatible devices during the Early Access period. For more information on available features and supported devices go to:

Bluetooth Setup:
- Open up the Alexa app
. - Select the More icon
. - Select the Settings
icon. - Select Communication.
- Select Texting.
- Select Enable for your Echo device and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Once you’re directed to Start Pairing, select this link to access your phone's Bluetooth Settings page.
- Your device shows up in the available devices list for pairing.
- Select your device’s name and follow the instructions on the page:
- For Android devices, select Allow to allow texting and Pair when prompted for Bluetooth pairing.
- For iOS devices, select the i icon next to your device. Then, accept both permission pop- ups to turn on Show Message Notification.
Note: To verify setup completion, return to
Settings

Enabled for texting status.
