Check Internet Connectivity
A working internet connection is required to purchase, download, or sync books to your library.
- Verify Wi-Fi Connection: Open your device settings and verify Wi-Fi is connected.
- If no connection is detected, make sure that Wi-Fi is turned On and Airplane mode is Off.
For help with connectivity issues on Kindle devices, go to Resolve Wi-Fi Connection Issues on Your Kindle E-Reader.

Once you're connected to Wi-Fi:
- Sync Your App: Open your Kindle app and select More at the bottom and then Sync or Sync Now.
- Sync Your Kindle E-Reader: Go to Settings and select Sync My Kindle or Sync and Check for Items.
Wait for sync to complete and then check for your content.

- Go to Manage Your Content and Devices and select 'Books' from the menu options at the top of the page.
- Look for your new content in the list and select Deliver or remove from device.
- Choose your device from the list and select Make Changes.
- Sync your Kindle app or device and look for the content in your library.
Confirm the Status of New Purchases
If you can't find your book in Manage Your Content and Devices, check the payment status of your Digital Order.
- Go to Your Orders, then select Digital Orders.
- Locate your order and verify if it's complete.
- If your order is incomplete, you can select Retry Payment Method or Change Payment Method.
Check the Filters on Your Kindle Library
Sometimes your content can seem hidden due to active filters.
- Open your Kindle app or device. Select Library and then choose All to display your entire library.
- Remove any active filters to refresh your library. Then search for your title.
Tip: Select the Sort icon and select Recent to bring new items to the top. Wait for the library to refresh and search for your title.

Press and hold the power button, then select Restart. Wait for your device to restart. If the issue persists, try the steps in Restart Your Kindle E-Reader.
