Access Your Notes Added to Books and Personal Documents

In the consolidated view, you can access all of your highlights, underlines, handwritten notes, and text notes.

To access all of your notes and highlights for a book or document:
  • Tap on the top of the screen to open the main toolbar and tap on the notebook icon, or follow these steps:
  1. Tap on any sticky note icon inside the book or document.
  2. Tap on the 3-dot menu, and select All notes.
Tapping on any item in the consolidated view takes you to that note's location in your book or document.

On Kindle Scribe models released in 2025 and later, annotations now have timestamps for simpler sorting. Sorting options include date created, date modified, and viewing annotations in ascending or descending order. The annotation notebook updates instantly to reflect your new choices.
