Control Fire TV Soundbar Plus Sound Settings on Fire TV

Learn how to control your Fire TV Soundbar Plus sound settings through your Fire TV device and check device compatibility.

Compatibility

This feature is available on compatible Fire TV devices only. The following devices don't support the sound control feature:

  1. Fire TV Stick (1st Generation)
  2. Amazon Fire TV (2nd Generation)
  3. Amazon Fire TV (1st Generation)
  4. Fire TV Stick (2nd Generation)
  5. Fire TV Stick Basic Edition
  6. Panasonic UHD Fire TV Smart TV (2023)

How to Access Sound Control Settings

  1. Connect the soundbar to your TV's HDMI ARC port.
    Note: Make sure to configure your TV's HDMI ARC or HDMI CEC settings correctly. To learn how to manage the HDMI ARC or HDMI CEC setting on common TV brands, visit Manage the HDMI ARC or HDMI CEC Setting on Your TV.
  2. Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
  3. Select Display & Audio.
  4. Select Sound Settings or Fire TV Soundbar Plus.
  5. Adjust the sound settings to fit your preference.
