Can’t Pair a BLE or Auracast Headset with Fire TV Smart TV
Troubleshoot issues using BLE/Auracast headsets or hearing aids with your Fire TV Smart TV.
Note: The following devices support BLE audio:
- Panasonic W90/W95 Series Fire TV Smart TV
- Panasonic Z85 Series Fire TV Smart TV
- Panasonic Z90/Z93/Z95 Series Fire TV Smart TV
- If there's no audio after connecting to the BLE audio device:
- If you're not using the Auracast feature:
- Unpair your BLE audio device from your Fire TV, and then pair it again.
- If you're using the Auracast feature:
- Go to Settings
on your Fire TV Smart TV.
- Select Controller and Bluetooth devices > Audio devices and features.
- Select your BLE audio device and then turn on Auto join.
- If Auto join is already on, turn it off and on again.
- For hearing aids, turn on Hearing aid compatibility.
- Go to Settings
- Restart your BLE audio device.
- If you still can’t pair or hear audio on your BLE audio device, factory reset your BLE audio device and pair again.
- If you're not using the Auracast feature:
- If you can't listen to Auracast from your Fire TV, join the Auracast network through a compatible mobile phone:
- Pair and connect your BLE audio device to a compatible mobile phone.
- Go to Settings
on your Fire TV Smart TV.
- Select Controller and Bluetooth devices > Audio Devices and Features.
- Select Auracast and locate the Auracast Name and Auracast Passcode.
- Use the name and passcode to join the Auracast from your mobile phone.
- If you can't hear audio from your Fire TV Smart TV speaker after disconnecting a BLE device:
- Go to Settings
on your Fire TV Smart TV.
- Select Audio Devices and Features, and then select Auracast.
- Turn off Auracast.
- Go to Settings
