Use Camera Event Summaries with Alexa+

Ask Alexa to provide event summaries captured by your Ring cameras.

Alexa can summarize certain events detected on your Ring camera. Ask Alexa questions about events involving people, packages, motion activity, and your doorbell. Questions about events can be from a specific day, or from a general time frame. You can say:

  • "What happened around my house today?"
  • "Was there any activity around my house on Tuesday?"
  • "When was the last time my camera saw something?"
  • "What time did someone ring my doorbell this morning?"
  • "Did you see anyone on my outdoor camera last night?"

Camera event summaries are available only for Ring cameras connected to Alexa, and require a Ring subscription. For setup instructions, visit Set Up Smart Home Camera Features with Alexa+.

Note: Alexa can only summarize new camera events that occur after you complete the setup steps.
