Other Vision Accessibility Settings on Fire Tablet

Adjust the display size, apply color correction or color inversion, or activate high contrast text on Fire Tablets (FireOS 7 and higher)

To adjust vision accessibility settings on a Fire tablet:

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Select Accessibility, and then select the desired feature.

The following options can be beneficial based on your personal needs and preferences:

  • Color Inversion: Inverts the colors on all screens, making white text appear on a black background, for instance.
  • Color Correction: Provides options for people with different kinds of color vision. Choose the radio button that best suits your needs (Deuteranomaly, Protanomaly, or Tritanomaly).
Note: You may need to turn off color correction and color inversion temporarily when watching certain videos.
  • High Contrast Text: Adjusts on-screen text to black or white with a contrasting border, making it easier to read.
  • Display Size: Makes the items on the screen smaller or larger. Apps may change position.
Note: Some apps may not display properly at the large, larger, and largest sizes. This feature is only available on Fire Tablets with FireOS 8.
