Adjust the Font Size on Your Fire Tablet
Adjusting both font size and display size make it easier to read content across your Fire Tablet.
To adjust the device font size:
- Go to Settings > Display > Font Size.
- Adjust the slider to make the text on the screen smaller or larger.
On newer devices (FireOS 8 and higher), you can adjust the display size to make items on screen larger or smaller:
- Go to Settings > Display > Display Size.
- Adjust the slider to make the items on screen smaller or larger.
Adjust the Font Size in the Kindle App on Your Fire Tablet
- Open a book on your Kindle app.
- Touch the top of the screen to bring up the reading toolbar.
- Select the Aa icon, then choose the text size that is most appropriate for your reading comfort level.
Adjust the Font Size in the Silk Browser on Your Fire Tablet
- Open the Silk browser and select the Menu (3-dot icon) in the top-right area.
- Select Settings > Accessibility.
- Drag the Text Scaling slider until you can read the text comfortably.
