Write in Color in a Notebook
Color palettes are integrated into the writing toolbar.
The new Shader pen makes lighter, see-through strokes that you can layer with other pen strokes. Build them up gradually for smooth color blending.
You can easily change the color of any stroke or multiple strokes using the Lasso Select tool.
When you select your strokes, you only see the color options for the tool that you used to make them. If you select both pen and highlighter marks together, you see the colors available for highlighter only.

Highlight or underline text with a pen stroke, then tap on the highlight or underline to open the contextual action bar of the annotation and change colors or remove them.
You can also choose to filter annotations by type and color. Your selected filters are visible at the top of the filtered results page.
Annotations now have timestamps for simpler sorting. Sorting options include date created, date modified, and viewing annotations in ascending or descending order. The annotation notebook updates instantly to reflect your new choices.
To codify bookmarks with colors, tap on an existing bookmark to access the color options menu. Bookmarks’ default color is blue. The default color changes to the last used color after you change the bookmark color.
