Remove Items from Collections in Kindle for Windows

How to remove books or documents from a Collection.

Important: The Legacy Kindle app (previously called Kindle for PC) isn't supported as of June 30, 2026. To download the new Kindle for Windows app, go to Install or Update the Kindle App for Desktop.
  1. Open the Kindle for Windows app.
  2. Select one or more items.
  3. Select Remove from Collection, then select the name of the collection.
  4. Select Remove.
