Create or Manage a Child Profile on Amazon Kids Tablet

You can create up to four child profiles and personalize each profile.

Your Amazon Kids Tablet supports up to four child profiles. Each child gets their own personalized experience with age-appropriate content, apps, and screen-time settings tailored just for them.

Add Child Profile

You can add child profile(s) during initial tablet setup. If skipped that step, you can add a profile at any time.

  1. Switch to an adult profile. For more guidance, refer to Switch Between Profiles on Amazon Kids Tablet.
  2. Open Amazon Kids+ app.
  3. Tap on Add a child.
  4. Enter profile details and confirm.

Set PIN for Child Profile

You can set PIN to a child profile to prevent from accessing each child profile:

  1. In the child profile you want to set a pin for, go to Settings.
  2. Enter Parent Passcode to verify you are an adult.
  3. Select Security & Privacy.
  4. Tap on Set a screen lock.
  5. Customize your Lock screen notification and select Done.

Manage or Remove Child Profile

You can update or remove a child profile at any time:

  1. Switch to an adult profile. For more guidance, refer to Switch Between Profiles on Amazon Kids Tablet.
  2. Open Amazon Kids+ app.
  3. Tap on Settings next to the child profile you want to manage.
  4. Select Manage Child Accounts.
    • Select Edit Child Profile to update details.
    • Select Remove Child Profile to remove a profile.
Note: Removing a child profile this way only removes it from the device. The child profile will still exist in your Amazon Household.
