Change the Audio Settings on Fire TV Soundbars

Use the remote that came with your soundbar to adjust the bass, equalizer and surround sound settings.

This information applies to the following devices:

  • Fire TV Soundbar
  • Fire TV Soundbar Plus

You can use your soundbar remote to change the audio settings listed in the table below.

Note: For Fire TV Soundbar Plus, you can also adjust the sound settings within Display & Audio on compatible Fire TV devices. Visit Control Fire TV Soundbar Plus Sound Settings on Fire TV for more information.
Audio Setting Description

Equalizer Mode

To cycle through the equalizer modes on your soundbar, press the EQ button on your remote.

You can choose between Movie, Music, or Dialogue to match the sound experience you want.

Bass

To cycle through your soundbar’s bass levels, press the BASS button on your remote.

You can choose between low, medium, or high bass levels to fit your preference.

Surround Effect

Press the Surround Effect button on your soundbar remote to turn surround sound on or off.

Input

Press the Input button to change inputs on your soundbar.

Treble

Note: This setting is only available for Fire TV Soundbar Plus.

To cycle through your soundbar's trebel levels, press the TREBLE button on your remote.

Dialogue Enhancer

Note: This setting is only available for Fire TV Soundbar Plus.

Press the DIALOG button on your soundbar remote to adjust the dialog clarity.

You can also long press DIALOG to turn on or off DTS TruVolume.
