What Are Personal Documents?

Personal Documents are files such as PDFs and Word documents that can be added to your Kindle library. You can read them in Kindle for Windows or on any of your other Kindle apps and devices.

Supported file types include:

• PDF (.PDF)
• Text (.TXT)
• Images (.JPG, .JPEG, .PNG, .BMP, .GIF)
• RTF (.RTF)
• HTML (.HTML, .HTM)
• EPUB

In Kindle for Windows, you can browse your documents from the left navigation menu.
