Remove Personal Documents from Kindle for Windows

Delete local files and cloud documents to clear space on your local library.

Important: The Legacy Kindle app (previously called Kindle for PC) isn't supported as of June 30, 2026. To download the new Kindle for Windows app, go to Install or Update the Kindle App for Desktop.
  1. Select the Content tab on the top left.
  2. Select View on the top left, then select Docs.
  3. Find the document you wish to remove, then select Deliver or remove from device.
  4. Uncheck the Kindle for Windows app, then select Make Changes.
