Add Items to Collections in Kindle for Windows

How to add books or documents to your Collections.

Important: The Legacy Kindle app (previously called Kindle for PC) isn't supported as of June 30, 2026. To download the new Kindle for Windows app, go to Install or Update the Kindle App for Desktop.
  1. Open the Kindle for Windows app.
  2. Select one or more items.
  3. Select Add to Collections, then select the name of the collection you want to add it to.
  4. Select Add.
