Auracast Streaming on Your Fire TV Smart TV

You can pair up to four Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)/Auracast headset or hearing aids (BLE audio device) with your Fire TV Smart TV.

Note: The following devices support BLE audio:
  • Panasonic W90/W95 Series Fire TV Smart TV
  • Panasonic Z85 Series Fire TV Smart TV
  • Panasonic Z90/Z93/Z95 Series Fire TV Smart TV

To share your Auracast streaming with other users:
  • After pairing up to four BLE audio devices with your Fire TV, turn on Auto Join for each device:
    1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV Smart TV.
    2. Select Controller and Bluetooth devices > Audio devices and features.
    3. Select your BLE audio device from the list of available devices.
    4. Turn on Auto Join.
  • If you prefer to join the Auracast using your BLE Audio compatible mobile phone:
    1. Pair your BLE audio device to a compatible mobile phone.
    2. Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
    3. Select Controller and Bluetooth devices.
    4. Choose Audio devices and features.
    5. Select Auracast and turn it on.
    6. Locate and use your Auracast Name and Auracast Passcode to join the Auracast network.
  • To change Auracast Name or Auracast Passcode as per choice, select Change Auracast Name/Change Auracast Passcode
  • If you change your Auracast passcode, or update the encryption, rescan the BLE audio device with your compatible mobile phone to rejoin.
  • To allow others to join your Auracast network without a passcode:
    1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
    2. Select Controller and Bluetooth devices.
    3. Choose Audio devices and features.
    4. Select Auracast, and then turn off Encrypt Auracast.
