After Moving, Update Device Location on Your Echo Devices with a Screen

Alexa uses your device's location for weather, time, traffic, and other local features.

Note: Settings menu items for the Echo Hub and Echo Show 5 (all generations) may vary, and those devices will receive a software update soon.
  1. Say, "Go to Settings," or go to the device settings on your Echo Show:
    • If you're using Alexa+, select the Menu icon on your screen, and then select Settings .
    • If you're using the original Alexa, swipe down from the top of the screen and select Settings.
  2. Select Device Options.
  3. Select About This Device and enter your complete address.
  4. If you've moved to a different time zone, under Device Options select Time Zone and make sure it reflects your correct location.
