Add an Adult to an Amazon Family

To add an adult to your Amazon Family, you can either send an email invitation or sign up together.

Amazon Family requires a unique Amazon account for each adult. If the other adult doesn't have their own Amazon account, they can create one either when they accept their invitation or when they sign up with you.

To add an adult to your Amazon Family:

Go to Amazon Family.
Under New - Add a new member, select Add Adult.
There are two ways to add an adult to your Amazon Family:
- Enter the name and email address of the person you'd like to invite and select Continue. They have 14 days to accept the invite.
- Select Sign up together on this device and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you receive a "Country/Region of residence or marketplace error," the invited customer can perform the following troubleshooting steps:

Go to Manage Your Content and Devices
Expand Country/Region settings
Select the Change button and set an address with the same country as the inviter.
