Check Your Refund Status

You can check your refund status in Your Returns.





To check your refund status, go to

Once you dropped off the item, the return tracker in Your Orders will show the expected date for each status. To find the return or refund status:

  1. Go to Your Returns.
  2. Find the returned item in the Last 3 months section.
  3. To display your return details, select View return status.

Items returned directly to Amazon will have one of the following statuses:

Status Description
Initiated The return has been requested. We'll send you a confirmation email with your return code or a link to your return label.
Drop off The return is on its way to our Returns Centre.
Received The return has been delivered to our Returns Centre. We'll process your return within 14 days from the drop-off date.
Refund issued We've issued a refund to the payment method that you chose while creating the return. For refunds to your debit or credit card, allow your bank 7 days to process the refund. Refunds on Amazon Gift Card may take up to 4 hours.
Refund credited The refund has been credited to your original payment method or gift card balance.

We will issue a refund, for a product shipped by Amazon, within a maximum of 14 days and confirm it with an automated e-mail. You can see the refund in your bank account or credit card statement, within a maximum of 7 business days after the refund is issued. Refunds on Amazon Gift Card may take up to 4 hours. In certain circumstances refund timeframes may be longer.
