Use Your Mobile Device like a Fire TV Remote

The Fire TV app allows you to use your mobile device as a remote control, providing a convenient alternative to the physical remote.

To control your Fire TV with your mobile device:
  1. Download the Fire TV app on your mobile device. This app is available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

  2. Connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Fire TV Device.
  3. Open the Fire TV app on your mobile device.
  4. Sign-in to your Amazon account.
  5. Select the remote icon and then select Set Up New Fire TV.
  6. Follow the on-screen prompt.
  7. Use the on-screen navigation, keyboard, and other menu options to control the selected Fire TV device.
Note: Download the Fire TV Recast & Blaster app to control your Fire TV Blaster. You can find the app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
