Set Up Kid-to-Kid Calling and Messaging

Approve your child's communication with friends between their Amazon Kids-enabled Echo devices.

Open the Alexa app .
Select More .
Select Communicate .
Select the contacts icon .
Select My Communications Settings.
Select your child's name.
Select Invite [child's name] friends under Approved Contacts.
Select your contact.
Select Send.

Your contact receives the invitation on the Alexa app. Once they select Approve in the notification message, setup between friends is complete.

Note: Contacts only appear if they set up Alexa Communication.

Note: If you've enabled features that allow calls to emergency numbers, your child may also be able to place emergency calls. For instance, if you have linked your mobile phone service with Alexa, your child may be able to call 911 through that phone service.
