Make Kid-to-Kid Calls and Messages

Voice commands allow your child to call and message approved contacts with their Amazon Kids-enabled Echo devices.

Voice commands include:

  • "Call [friend]."
  • "Call [friend's] Echo."
  • "Message my [friend's] Echo."

Note: On Echo Show devices, the contact list displays approved contacts for kid-to-kid communication.
Note: If you've enabled features that allow calls to emergency numbers, your child may also be able to place emergency calls. For instance, if you have linked your mobile phone service with Alexa, your child may be able to call 911 through that phone service.
