Reset Your Third-Party Smart Plug
Try resetting your smart plug if it isn't working, stopped responding to Alexa commands, or is unresponsive.
Note: Restart your device first to see if it resolves the problem. To restart, unplug the device from the outlet and plug it back in.
If you have restarted your device and it still isn't working, try the following steps:
- Open the Alexa app, and remove your device.
- Go to the device manufacturer's companion app or website, and follow instructions to "reset an unresponsive device."
- Reconnect your smart home device to Alexa in the Alexa app.
