Amazon Global Store Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Amazon Global Store. The Amazon Global Store makes items offered on select International Amazon Stores (listed in the table in the next section) available on Amazon.co.uk ("International Products"). You can find them by looking for products that are sold by the international Amazon entity listed in the table in the next section (as applicable, the "International Amazon Store" or "we" or "us"). These conditions of sale ("Conditions of Sale") govern International Amazon Store's sale of International Products to you. The Amazon.co.uk website and related apps and services are provided by Amazon Europe Core SARL and/or its affiliates and your use is governed by the Amazon.co.uk Conditions of Use. Amazon Europe Core SARL and/or its affiliates help facilitate transactions by third party sellers like the International Amazon Stores, but are not the seller of the International Products.

International Product Variations and Warranties

International Products are marketed, distributed, and sold in the applicable source country listed in the table below but made available to you through Amazon.co.uk, for delivery within the UK or to any other delivery location offered. Consequently, some International Products may not be designed to the same specifications as United Kingdom ("UK") products and may differ from versions sold in the UK, or versions sold in your delivery country, including in their fit, default settings, age ratings, and language. Foreign versions of certain products, such as software and DVDs, may be region-locked against use in the UK, or in your delivery country. Manufacturer warranties may not apply in the UK or in your delivery country and manufacturer service options may not be available in the UK or in your delivery country. To receive manufacturer warranty service, you may be required to return your International Product(s) to the authorised manufacturer representatives. You are responsible for reviewing available product information to ensure that the International Product you are purchasing meets your needs and expectations. International Products are not eligible to be delivered to all locations.

Responsibility for Importation, Import Duties and Taxes

When purchasing International Products, you acknowledge that (1) you are ordering from the International Amazon Store; (2) the International Products may have not yet been imported into the UK (or your delivery country) at the time of purchase; and (3) the sale occurs in the Source country and that in the event that goods are imported, you are importing the products into the UK (or your delivery country) for your personal use (or to give to another individual as a gift for their personal use only) and not for resale or any commercial use, which will be reflected on customs documentation. You will be listed as the importer of record and act as the declarant for customs purposes, if this is needed. Your order may be subject to local taxes in the UK (or your delivery country) and if VAT does not apply, you are responsible for paying any taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by customs authorities in the UK or your delivery country (" Import Duties and Taxes") which are triggered by the importation by you of International Products into the UK or your delivery country. Where Import Duties and Taxes are due, as the declarant, you are solely responsible for paying these duties and taxes. Where applicable, for each item in your order which is subject to Import Duties and Taxes, at checkout we may collect from you a deposit to cover the estimated Import Duties and Taxes ("Import Fees Deposit"), or a fixed amount which corresponds to a service fee for all applicable customs-related processes and costs, including payment of Import Duties and Taxes on your behalf ("Import Charges").

When you have paid an Import Fees Deposit and this sum - which is collected by Amazon Export - is greater than the Actual Import Fees, Amazon Export will refund the difference to you. However, as Import Charges are a fixed service fee, if the Import Charges you paid are greater than the actual amount of Import Fees paid to the Customs authorities, you will not be refunded. Conversely, we will not ask you to make any additional payment if the actual Import Fees are greater than the Import Charges collected by Amazon Export.

Following shipment of your order, you may contact the Designated Carrier specified in your shipment confirmation to obtain details regarding the Actual Import Fees, or to obtain documentation or receipts in connection with customs clearance.

You authorise us to designate a carrier ("Designated Carrier") to act as your direct or indirect representative/agent with respect to the International Products and the relevant customs and tax authorities, if this is needed to carry out the customs clearance for the merchandise, process and pay the applicable Import Duties and Taxes, and provide any other information pertaining to you or your order to any governmental authority in the UK or abroad, as may be requested. The Import Fees Deposit and/or Import Charges will be used, on your behalf, to reimburse the Designated Carriers for the Import Duties and Taxes that they have paid on your behalf to the appropriate authorities. To obtain details regarding the actual Import Duties and Taxes, or to obtain documentation or receipts in connection with customs clearance, you may contact the Designated Carrier specified in your shipment confirmation.

Customs Inspections and Information

Imports are subject to opening and inspection by customs and/or postal authorities. We may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as product names or titles, to the international carriers or agents, and such information may be communicated by the carriers or agents to customs and/or postal authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws. Customs authorities require the value of the gift item to be stated directly on the package. Because of this, even if the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form.

Our Contract

With respect to products sold by the International Amazon Store, your order is an offer to us for you to buy the product(s) in your order. When you place an order to purchase the International Product(s) from us, you will be sent a message confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (the "Order Confirmation"). Your order information will also be available on the "Your Orders" page of the website. The Order Confirmation is acknowledgement that we have received your order, and does not confirm our acceptance of your offer to buy the International Product(s) ordered. We only accept your offer, and conclude the contract of sale for an International Product ordered by you, when we dispatch the product(s) to you and send an e-mail confirming that we've dispatched the product to you (the "Dispatch Confirmation"). If your order is dispatched in more than one package, you may receive a separate Dispatch Confirmation for each package, and each Dispatch Confirmation and corresponding dispatch will conclude a separate contract of sale between us for the International Product(s) specified in that Dispatch Confirmation. Your contract of sale is with the respective International Amazon Store.

Please note that we sell International Products only in quantities which correspond to personal use and may refuse orders for quantities that we determine are for commercial purposes. This applies both to the number of International Products ordered within a single order and the placing of several orders for the same or similar International Products.

Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue may be mispriced. If we have made a mistake and an International Product's correct price is higher than the price on the website, we may either contact you before shipping to request whether you want to buy the International Product at the correct price or cancel your order. We may be required to cancel or limit orders from time to time where there has been a genuine price error.

Risk of Loss

All purchases of International Products are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for International Products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier outside the UK (or your delivery country).

Product Information

Unless expressly indicated otherwise, the International Amazon Store is not the manufacturer of the International Products. While we work to ensure that product information for International Products is correct, International Products and any product packaging and materials may be different from that displayed on the website. All information about International Products on the website is provided for information purposes only and, to the extent permitted by law, our sole liability in the event of any incorrect product information will be to accept a return of the International Product in accordance with our returns policies and any other rights you may have under law. We recommend that you do not rely solely on the information presented on the website. Please always read labels, warnings and directions provided with the International Product before use.

In the event of any safety concerns or for any other information about an International Product, please carefully read the information provided with the International Product, contact the manufacturer, or report the concern to us.

To the extent permitted by law, the International Amazon Store accepts no liability for inaccuracies or misstatements about International Products by manufacturers or other third parties.

Returns and Refunds

Amazon US does not take title to returned items until the item arrives at the International Amazon Store's fulfillment center or such other location as we may specify. Amazon EU does not take title to returned items until the item is received by the return carrier within the UK or your delivery country or otherwise as we may specify. At its discretion, the International Amazon Store may elect to issue a refund without requiring a return. In this situation, the International Amazon Store does not take title to the refunded item.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE INTERNATIONAL AMAZON STORE: (i) DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; and (ii) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN WRITING. Unless otherwise stated in writing, our liability to you for any loss arising from or relating to the offer or sale of any product by us on the website is limited to a refund of the relevant amount paid for the product (including applicable shipping fees).

Updates

We reserve the right to make changes to its terms, conditions, and policies, including these Conditions of Sale at any time by posting the changes on our website. You will be subject to the terms, conditions, policies, and Conditions of Sale in force at the time that you purchase International Products.

If any of these Conditions of Sale are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

Waiver

If you breach these Conditions of Sale and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Conditions of Sale.
