Help a Family Member Create an Alexa Voice ID

Other members of the home can choose to create Alexa Profiles with voice ID.

Family members can create a voice ID from the Alexa app or directly on an Echo device. A voice ID helps Alexa recognize you to give you personalized responses.

Steps for the Alexa Profile owner to enroll in voice ID:

Open the Alexa app .
Sign in using the Alexa account you want to add a voice ID to.
Select your family member's profile, or select I'm someone else to make a new profile.
Confirm your first and last name.
Follow the instructions to complete the setup process.
Select More , then Settings .
Select Your Profile & Family.
Select the profile that's logged into the Alexa app.
Select Set Up Voice ID to add a voice ID, then follow the steps on your phone or device.
You can also add a visual ID from a compatible device.
