Turn Off Communications for Specific Alexa Devices

Use the Alexa app to disable Communications on a specific device.

1. Open the Alexa app .
2. Select Devices .
3. Select Echo & Alexa.
4. Select your device.
5. Select Communications.
6. Turn off Communications.
   • Turn off Announcements to stop broadcast messages to your device.
   • Turn off Drop In to stop household members and contacts from connecting to your device.
